I have a VHS original of Barry's own movie called 'Space Riders'

I wish I knew how to convert it to DVD before it's no good.

Great music with genuine GP footage, B grade acting but who cares, overall a great thing.

I would love to share it with you, but I am technology disabled in this area :(

Lots of easy ways to do this.
Easiest is get a VHS/DVD player recorder they are cheap and then just record it to digital with a DVD.
Another way is get a Canopus unit to connect to the VCR and the other into your computer then record it that way.
If you don't have an electronic store close by order off Amazon.

I have been and still do convert vhs for folks.
Feel free to contact me with questions

That should do the trick.
Using that digitize your vhs tapes
Let me know how it works or if you have questions.
Love to see the end product.
So, simply connect to video player and connect to computer after installing software and hit play and the computer will record? Then burn to DVD? and send you and Pat a copy?

You got it it really is that easy.
How new is your computer? As long as your computer exceeds the minimum requirements you will be good.
Just remember it's all in real time.

I think you mean it will take 90+ minutes to be 'real time' to record.

All's good.

I just ran the tape(VHS) fast forward & rewind a couple of times to loosen it up.

A sister company to mine is a Jaycar agent so I will order it tomorrow.

Thanks for your help, but don't get up me when you see the end result, the movie is a bit corny :D

Yeah watch in real time and record
Have fun with it.
No worries at all. I'm sure it's going to be enjoyable.
I'm looking forward to seeing it again, it was done in 1983, I was only 18 years old & had two strokes in my blood.
The music is good at least.;)

I used to go around to an ex racers place on Sunday nights and he would feed me & we would stay up late to watch the race or watch the recording.

I just hope the tape is still good.
