Quick Q, do u leave the cable connected to the battery permanently attched and zip tie to the frame for easy charge access and just plug in when needed or do u remove the whole thing each time?

I have mine permanently wired in. I ran it from the battery up the frame and back a bit so I can plug it in without having to remove any fairings. When not in use, you can't see it at all. This is on my 1098. Should be the same on the 848

I pull my battery in the winter time and that is the only time I use the Tender but what you are asking is perfectly fine to do.
