best boots to give a woman rider height

1520 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Ozmillcharl
So I have a little bit of money to buy myself a pair of boots I have had my eye on a pair from revzilla called the lady classic. They lowered my duc as low as it can go without causing problems, I had a pair of cowboy boots that made the height perfect but I laid down the bike a week ago and ruined my boots so now I need new ones. I'd like to stay in the $200 range and I need about an inch and a half heel to flat foot the bike. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

The wife has a pair of these on order.

She liked the way it looked and that it has a flat heal. It has a 2.5" wedge lift on the inside that is supposed to take care of height issues, which she needs as she is only 5'2" (5' 3 1/2" according to her, but you know how that goes). Cant speak for them just yet as we are still waiting for them, but will let you know when they arrive in the next day or so if you haven't gotten anything by then.
She has done the whole lowering link route too, but we need to get the bike a bit higher off the ground so she has clearance for the mountains that are being used as speed bumps lately. Our plan is to try out these boots to give her height and raise the bike back up a bit for clearance and improved handling.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I would be happy to raise the bike up a little more if I had a boot that would give me the right amount of security
Hi

I realise these are more money than you were ideally looking to spend right now but just thought I'd mention them as I have a pair and they are great. Very comfy and the raised heel is hidden within the boot. They are Goretex so can get a little warm in hot weather but this has never bothered me really.

High quality and very well made...would definitely recommend :) Think they claim to give around an extra 6cm of height.

Just been reading about your little spill...glad you got the bike sorted with the insurance company - hope you're back riding your baby soon :)
