I was thinking the same thing... I don't think powder coating would be over $150.. My main turn off would be the pain in the a$$ swing arm removal and re-install

I wouldnt paint it black i would either get it powdercoated to match the bike color or get it polished. I would stay away from chrome though weighs too much.
