Brake rotors...848 vs 848evo? ?

Is there a difference? I'm aware of the caliper difference, but are the rotors the same? Or different?

Parts catalog says yes, but I don't think there is a difference. I put the same mono block calipers on my base 848 with the OEM rotors no problem. So I wouldn't think there is any issue what so ever. Key word there, "think" heh ;)

I was told by the seller that sold a set of rims to me (that had non EVO rotors) they would not fit..

The 848 models with DTC (Corse Se) run 330mm discs, the rest are 320mm.

So it depends which model the wheels are from but even if they are 330mm versions all you need is the 5mm bolt spacers which cost peanuts or make some.

The offset between EVO and non EVO is the same. The differences are the DTC buttons and the possible size difference. I run the EVO 330mm on my 848 and all that's required are 5mm spacers.

Yes, I'm well aware of the DTC difference with the Corse..I used to have a 2012 848 Corse, traded that for a 2010 1198 Corse, and have since purchased a 2011 848, a non Corse this time, for race only....still got the 1198 Corse.

Looking to replace the front rotors on my 848evo racebike. These are 320mm.
Thanks for the responses guys....love this forum!
