Hi all,

I would like to buy my first Ducati. I found this one close to where I live. It is a 2003, it has 33,000 km and the cost is 3,400 EUR. It has no service history and I was told that it suffers with soft brake lever, but it works (the seals in brake were changed). The guy from shop selling it says he was driving it himself and says it is a good bike just reccomends to change belts as he don't know when they were changed for the last time. What do you think about this deal? Is it a too high mileage considering it has no service history? I would be interested what do you think about it as experienced people with Ducati. I really appriciate any help I can get.

Here are some pictures:

Thanks,
Tomas

Owned a 2004 749S, my advice is to look for a cleaner bike. Ducati's are like exotic cars, parts are not cheap, neither is labor. Pay more up front and get a good bike with service history, records, lower miles, etc... If you end up buying this one you will spend $$$$ regardless. Get a jap bike if you want to save some $$, just my .02 cents.
