I am looking at a used 2012 1199s tomorrow from a private seller. The bike has 4200 miles on it and seems to be in good condition. Apart from the recalls, what can I check to make sure the bike has been treated well. Obviously there is no fool proof method, but, surely there are some things that can help.
And, yes, I understand buying from a private seller is risky business.
