I think it looks cool to have the cam belt exposed it appears to have part of the cover protecting the top of the cams to keep the big stuff out I ride a s2r in a area where there are no dirt roads could someone give me the pro's and con of this Thanks
Its not a wise idea to run without covers on a street bike. Water and debris can be kicked up from the street without you knowing about it. On race/track bikes its no big deal as full fairing bikes are more protected anyway. But on naked bikes, I'd be concerned for sure.
They do make plastic covers which are see-through…
