I'm doing my valve adjustment and cam timing tomorrow. does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts(3 per cam gear) that lock the timing gear to the camshafts once clocked? also, are antiseize or loctite required? I have the service manual but maybe i don't recognize the description. Thanks

Yes, red locktite and not very tight. My manual says 10nm, but that seems awfully low.

999 torque specs - Driven pulley flange screws M 6x1 10nm

1198 torque specs - Pulley flange retaining bolts M6x1 10nm

Neither specify using a thread locker, blue at the most.

Thanks guys. I guess it was in the service manual. I wouldn't have listed it as just a pulley flange screw lol
