Stupid question but I went to clean my chain
On my 999 and cannot find the spot to screw
In the swingarm spools. Is there not any? I ended
Up having to roll the bik then spray roll and spray
There has to be an easier way

It sounds like you need a rear paddock stand so you spin the rear wheel and clean your chain.

A brush and some kerosene will do the job, wipe down with a rag and apply some lube. Belray Blutac is pretty good.

Another option is to purchase a bike chain cleaning kit. I use one on my MTB with great results. I saw this motorcycle one on ebay.

If you do not have pre-drilled holes for the bobbins, you could look at drilling and tapping some.

The other option is to purchase a pair of adaptor plates, that come pre-drilled for the bobbins. From memory, they slide in underneath the swingarm and negate the need to drill any holes.

2004 & earlier cast swing arms don't have bobbin mounts. R&G makes a thru axle slider with bobbin grooves.

You've been given a few solutions to your problem and all will work. Most axel sliders allow the use of spool stands or use something that will slide through your axel and allow a spool stand to lift the rear tire I've used a piece of rebar before. Depending on your rear sets you can also use jack stands underneath the pegs the hold the rear tire in the air.
