Honeslty that is what I don't like.

Jason

Man,, you must live with a cleaning rag in your hand :)
I like the chrome swing arm, i wouldn't do it but i like it. the only thing about your absolutely perfect looking bike is the seat? I bet it feels great, but it sits up like a old Harley seat in the back.

Other that that, it is absolutely perfect.

Hi,

That's the thing about good quality Aluminium, is it doesn't oxidize. My TL1000R or GSX-R are all polished frames and I only give them an hour or so's polish once a year. It takes no up keep at all. Washes clean and shiney like your bodywork.

Visitor Q... Knew you wouldn't like the polished look :)

It's hot that I hate the polished look, it's just that too much reminds me of chrome.

I did the wheels on my 600.

It's all what your into I guess...

Jamie,
That looks AWESOME! Gotta get that Seargent seat on my 1098S for sure. Are those DP rear sets? Are they selling the red mirrors yet or did you have them painted?

Hi,

Thanks for the compliment...

They're out of the same factory, but I'm damned if I'm go to pay DP prices... I try and get most things for free or at least a big discount!

Try...

or

I painted the mirrors... easy, just with a can and some patience. Came up mint!

When you say “yet” does that mean in the past they have offered these down the road?

Jason
I know they sold color version of mirrors for the 916/998 series. Like the 1098, those bikes came with black mirros stock. Thought I saw a post somewhere claiming Ducati was coming out with paint matching mirrors....perhaps I was off.

I really like the look of the painted mirrors as the stock ones in black look like an afterthought, IMO. Considering painting the mirrors for my D16RR as well (different color red than 1098).

What a rip! Ya think Ducati would have just put them on that way from the get go. sigh

Oh well...

hehehe With that said, I would still look into buying them so let me know if you see anything more.

Hi,

Oxford Columbia LED Indicator

Thought they matched the front indicators better. Easy to fit and come with the resistors. Very bright... which is cool!

Distributed in the US by:

http://www.castlesales.com

or available from the manufacturer in the UK.

Tail tidy i.e numberplate holder:

Hope this helps,

Jamie
