There was a cameo appearance of a Desmo on Episodes, featuring Matt Leblanc(Friends), on Showtime. It is a funny show about a has-been actor, Matt. Goofs on all the Hollywood stereotypes. On last episode he was selling his beach house. And on display is a Desmo. Know he was an avid bike fan. But was impressed with the Desmo. Wonder if it was his? I remember years back when Aprilla released a Nero edition of their SBK, he got one of the first ones from Fast by Ferracci.

actually it was a nera, not a nero but leblanc is a big speed freek. Tom Cruise too, who was supposedly the person who got the first desmosedecci, owned a vyrus (basically a bimota tesi 3d)....
