I don't know...

I mean, I haven't posted many, or should I say any, of the 1098S...

I DO have a streak to uphold...

Man, I'm jacked. I wonder how long it will take to get seeing as how I'm almost the last order.

I have had one ordered since day 1. Why would I buy it not to ride it. I plan on taking the thing out, as soon as the weather permits, and taking it for a 150-200 mile ride. It's a motorcycle. I cannot wait to lean it into a turn ,and exit on the gas.

Von,

Me too! Unfortunately, given the 40+ extra horsepower the desmosedici puts to the rear wheel, it's doubtful that any of us on a 1098 we'll be "right behind" a desmosedici. After riding the sedici, I suspect the 1098 will feel like an underpowered tinker-toy. A bit depressing, don't ya think?

step one

I certainly hope it includes tires.
Hornet,

I doubt it will include tires, but it does cover valve adjustments, which is a damn good thing, 'cause step one for the desmosedici valve adjustment is: "Remove engine." No kidding! Remove engine! Imagine what that would cost! And then add 32 shim adjustments at $75.00+ dollars/hour...that's one expensive valve adjustment!!

LMAO........

U know as long as I can see it take off every once in a while I'll be fine.

He'd half to stop sooner or later and HELL if he decides to invite me along for the ride. We'd be getting gas together. Then once we took off I could at least try to keep up. ;)

I know of TWO Sedici's coming into the Chicagoland area and between the two of them I hope I get the chance to catch a glimps:D

I'll be one of the rare to see 1 of the limited production bikes.
I'll be bring the camera and Wash cloth

Well, I ordered mine and I will not even take it on the road, only on the race track...in fact I am looking for a set of "race" body work for it; does anyone have any idea where I can find one? Actually I will go home to Venice Italy for the holiday and Venice is nothing but an hour from Bologna: I could take the occasion and go see at the Ducati factory if they have something.
