Yes, I also noticed the counter limited to 99999 mi or km, the tools on the bikes itself, the battery charger.. and nothing is said on how to mount the racing exhaust...

Has anyone read whether the racing exhaust will actually come with the bike or if it will be shipped at a later time by Ducati.....just like MV Agusta did on the 910r where it took them one year to send the racing exhaust?

The usual practice on previous "R" models has been that the extra goodies (race pipes, stand, cover etc..) are delivered at the same time as the bike

That is also what they told me when I ordered the MV 910r and then.....one year after they sent the pipes. Anyway, I hope Ducati works different than MV Agusta

When the Tricolore was delivered the race exhaust was included in the shipping crate.

That makes me feel better. I really don't see the DD16rr with some kind of silencer as slipon.

Did you get to keep those blue tie downs Sfarson?
Some of the metal on that frame doesn't look square to me. Or was it the angle of the dangle when you took the picture?

No, I think I was maybe too distracted to ask!

You make a keen observation. The shipping crate was not in good shape upon delivery and indeed, a fork lift damaged the crate while it was loaded or unloaded from the ship. Damage to the bike included a puncture to the fairing on one side. I took it home with the cosmetic damage and Ducati had a new fairing side to me in one month.

Now wouldn't that dampen slightly a D16RR delivery if it arrived damaged? Net, I think it would be slight, and Ducati would correct things quickly.

I heard from the vine that this bikes have special delivery and shipping will be a little different. They will have extra protection throughout the frame and etc. Ducati doesn't want anyone getting there bike damaged upon delivery. If my bike has any damage to the point were we have to order a part i will wait for the part to be delivered first before i pay for the bike and take it home because the warranty starts when you pay for it, meaning taking delivery of it. Iam a little picky though.

Did you get to keep the damaged piece?
