Hi,

I want to buy new Monster 821 and thinking what is the difference between two offered models of Termignoni carbon exhausts:

96480461A
96480541A

First one they say is racing one, second they call homologated one.

First of all, does this means that the racing one is not approved for use on roads?

Second, does anybody measured dB of both of them? What is the difference in standard rev (after engine start, no throttle)?

Third, I noticed homologated one is bulgier, how this relates to foot position? Did anybody owing homologated one noticed some restrictions in terms of foot position?

Do you know is there any video/youtube/audio presentation showing the difference available anywhere on the web?

I believe the difference is that the cat is built into the homologated cans but not the other one.

Yes, the above appears to be true. I also imagine the 'race' one to produce more decibels. Not sure how that effects your laws, but here the Police would surely hassle you continuously - anything over 92db would result in being pulled over, not too mention the neighbors being pissed off at you.

With the race version you get a remap, when you turn in the ignition its says race on the dash....already saving up for one
