since many of the 848 owners know the mirrors are pretty useless and with the extension on them are kinds strange looking (at least in my opinion) recently i broke off one of my mirrors and was curious if i could just put the mirrors from the 1199 and 899 on my 848 without having to modify the mounting bracket or front cowl.

The mounts are completely different. Unfortunately they aren't swappable.
