This is a video i made sometime late this season with the $35 ebay camera mount. I heard someone talking about it and it reminded me i have it. I am on my Duc, And my friend is on his GSXR. I was a bit apprehensive at the time, and i didnt follow him as closely as i would have liked to, but its still pretty cool.

Seeing this video now, there are a lot of things i would have done differently. One is the time of day, because the glare from the sun becomes a pain...

Anyway, here's the links, so check it out if you wish. It's cut into two 5 minute parts.

This is on a road we call wolf creek out in rural utah. I didnt post the location on Youtube for obvious reasons...

AND ps, don't be bitching at me that this is speeding, and dangerous and illegal, etc. I already know that. I'm young and dumb, so if im gonna kill myself, im going to do it when i have no kids etc.

I have a generic $35 one from ebay

Problems i had with it were:
1. Can't Duck the tank (obviously) so 140 was the max comfortable speed.
2. My mini cam records onto a DVD, and because of the vibrations, it wasn't having it. I had to get it onto an SD card as an alternative, and the quality was compromised.
3. I was afraid that the camera would fall off... thats why i didn't go all out. Surprisingly, not even a close call...
4. Should have cleaned my windshield better/Sun Glare.

mount looks simple and to the point. I'll probably design and manufacture something a little fancier, with more adjustment and vibration dampening.

WOW! I'm impressed! This is my first bike so that's amazing to me. I liked on the second one when you blew it on those other bikes and your man wheelied on them. I was feeling nervous for you when you got hemmed in next to that winnabago going around a turn, then was a car comming in the opposit lane.

I can't believe it's possible to go that fast around those turns! Is it difficult to hang off the seat like that? What exactly is the point of hanging like that?

you move "off the seat" to get the bike DOWN. Naturally, when the bike goes fast, it wants to go straight. to turn it, you have to lean like never before, give it some gas, and the bike follows. It's actually really smooth down there. If a keith code riding school comes to your area, you should take the class. They'll teach you everything. It will make you a much better rider, weather you want to go fast or not.

that little camera looks pretty slick... On the sample video parts "Olympic snowboarder Grahm Wantanabee" haha i know that guy i see him all the time. Weirdest things on the net. The resolution of that little camera isn't so bad 640X480. Youtube reduced my quality to less than that. originally it was 720 by 560 or something, but the little guy isn't far off.

Not so expensive either from memory. Because of it's size and the seemingly endless options of mounting you could get real 'arsty' with it and mount it in some interesting positions on the body or bike. I'm interested in feedback from anyone who owns one.
