Hi guys,

Can someone please tell me whats the actual amount of oil that i need in order to change oil; with new oil filter. i at least seen 5 different guide line already.

On my 848 EVO its's slightly less than 4 liters.

From the manual 3.7 litres, but of course check the sight glass after filling.

Buy a 5 litre container and you'll have a bit left over.

i always buy 3 liters now for my 1098. warming it up, letting it dry for hours, filter removed of course, tilted left right etc.

never needed more than 3 liters to go between lines.

my advice, buy 4 liters, note how much you need, buy that quantity in the future.

make sure the wheels are on the ground and it is off any stands, but on level ground. as others said, stood up vertical.

Yup, Can never go wrong with 4 liters, You won't use it all, Fill up and view the sight glass, Run it a bit after new filter is installed and oil put in, then top off as needed.

Like all cars bikes boats ect, it,s not about book amounts.
It's about the sight glass.

On my 1198 I purchase 4 Quarts and I have a little left over. I would say 3.75 quarts will do it.
