Hi this is harsha from india i recently purchased a ducati monster 821 2018 model and d i want to fit a slipon exhaust among 4 options
sc project conic
Sc project crt
Termignoni
Akrapovich

Since termis are the most expensive of all will the sc project conic hamper the engine after long term use since it doesn come with an ecu upmap.

Sc project crt is the loudest of all i feel will it also damage the engine compinents after prolonged use?

If not sc project my second option is akrapovich slip on.. and even akras dont come wid mapkey ..

In terms of budget slipon exhaust in terms of sound not too harsh and loud which wud be the best option among these four exhaust?

And also will a bmc fliter help when i change the slipon exhaust without remapping?

you don't need a remap. Just get the one you like the look of and that fits your budget.

I love my SC conic

I really wish the SC1-R model SC Project would fit older models. Love the shape of the can compared to the Conic.

I'm guessing the bolt location is different in 2018-2019 compared to a 2015?

Edit: Looks they have redesigned the rearset/passenger peg location on the newer models.

Hello Joe,
only the low, short exhausts fit between the older and newer models. The Conic and the SCR1 has a bolt screwed up to the passenger footpeg which is not compatible between the models of 14-17 and 18+.
But you can choose from the short exhausts, e.g CW :)

Hi Blackbeard, sorry to open this old topic, but I've been looking in to this aswell. Is it only the bracket that connects to the footpegs that doesn't fit? What about a link pipe? Or could you fit the exhaust directly on the 14-17 model? I've been thinking about getting the exhaust, but just fabricate another bracket for it, so it does fit to the rear footpeg
