Hi guys,

I just bought my first bike (Monster 821 Stripe) and found a good deal on Termigoni slip-on. The product code on the slip-ons is 96410431A (96410441A).
It also says 'For Race use only'.

1. Does this mean that I own the 'older version' of the Termignoni exhausts for your Ducati Monster 821 | Termignoni (96480461A)
2. Do I really need to 'up map' / use the MAP key? What are the consequences if I do not do this?

Thanks!!

My 821 has an SC Project Conic and no changes to the mapping - runs absolutely fine, so I've no reason to think that the Termi's without a upmap will be any different.

Sure the Upmap will iron out some of the lumpiness at the bottom end but it's character!

Thanks for your insight! I discussed with some other guys (both from specialist/dealers) and they said;
It could run somewhat poor and heating could potentially be an issue. In the end I think i'll give it a try first without.
