I saw a pair of Puma red race boots today. They came to my dealer unexpected. They look awesome. They have a nice toe slider with metal on it. They are RED, and I mean RED, and look awesome. They have the Puma label on them. They came in a European 41 (Small).

Anyone know what the hell these are ?? I will try to get a picture up as soon as possible .

I've had a black set since April that I bought at Cycle Gear - love the look, fit and support of them but had to take back the first set after TD because that little bracket thing on the inside got caught on my heelguard and broke. Other than that, very cool and I feel like the Terminator when I wear them!!

Are you talking about this style? They are comfortable and I did like the fit when I tried them on. But for that money I will stick with my Sidi.

I was looking at these also, Puma has 2 different boots that I would consider for sportbike riding, one a bit less expensive (about 250) and one more expensive (425) that is more of a "pro" boot. Ultimately, I think I will end up going with the new a-stars supertech-r boot.

Decided to try a pair of the Puma 1000 boots after having worn Sidi's for close to a decade. Returned them after two weeks. The fit and finish for a $400 boot is not acceptable, they are a pain to get on if you have a high instep, and the ankle brace/support is flimsy. Get the Sidi corsa vertigo's....a superior product in all respects.

I have the Puma P1000 and they have never scratched my frame, but isn't that why you have heel gaurds?
