.....if they are, as I suspect, "race track soft", road use will yield 3 of 4 thousand k on a new rear if you're lucky. If they are in good nick perhaps save 'em and substitute a sport touring compound for the rear and a soft road compound for the front? Having a spare set of wheels with two sets of tyres is an ideal, if not always practical solution. Look for 8>12 thousand k on a rear (roadie).:conveyer:
