Aloha,
If you’ve been following along in my saga, I’m having a problem getting my 848 to operate down the highway at higher than a 140F coolant temp. 4200 rpm +- for 40 minutes saw a high of 143F.

My question at this point, (assuming Shazam is correct with his “thermostat begins opening at 150“) info is this.....

* At what temperature does the fuel map begin to lean the mixture off of its “warm up” rich mixtures?

I appreciate everyone’s help.

Bruce Wilson posted the fuel corrections for a 996 and a 916 bip. Two different bikes, two different set-ups. Thanks Bruce.

I would say between 140 and 155*f

Or maybe ask the power commander people instead.

Ok, I’m kinda getting nowhere here.
So let me rephrase the question if I may.

My stock 848 runs between 140-148f on a 85f day in Hawaiian humidity at 60 mph?

Is this normal?
Thank you all for your help.
