False neutral between 5th and 6th gear

Encountered this false neutral between 5th and 6th gear a few times on the highway.

Anyone has this issue?
Just did my 1Km run-in servicing, and still got this problem.

It is common, happened to me few times already. I'm around 1400 miles.

There's no fix to it?
I have had this happen on my Monster 1200 once or twice now. It also seems to plague my Honda CB 1000R. Techs find nothing wrong with the Honda, I have not bothered the Ducati techs.

My solution; I do not use the clutch when shifting into 6th. It never misses on either when I skip the clutch.

Shift with authority.
Mine was bad at first but getting better, still find a false neutral now and again

I agree it helps but with me at least it still occurs at times and only from 5th to 6th. Hence I just skip the clutch oing into 6th and all is well.

My Honda is way worse with this issue. Almost 50% of the time when using the clutch from 5th to 6th. Who knows?
don't just give it a soft click. make sure its a full pull on the lever. and once you are out of the break in period it's supposed to be better.
Happens to me as well sometimes. I ride a 1098s tricolore from 2007.
Happens to me all the time. Maybe I just suck at shifting properly.

Click on the link I put up and search around their site for the right model for your bike.
It is the only fix out there.

When I first got the bike, I would find false neutral once in a while. I've gotten used to the easier click-clack action of my Suzuki. I've just learned to use a little more force to engage the lever. I met somebody with an 821 Hyperstrada. Same deal.
It's not uncommon, see a similar thread here with a video

over 2,500 miles... I hit the FN every now and then...
Thanks for the video, Craig. Very thorough, I really liked the dowel trick he used to get it all aligned prior to bolting it down.
No worries, don't thank me, Thank Charles, he made the video, I was just sharing the love

I get a FN now and then on my ST4s. I found that adjusting my shift lever down a little so it's easier to give it a firm jab helped a lot. It's a rare occurrence now, but I can almost always chalk it up to lazy shifting.

This /|\ is the key, shift like you mean it. Should see the shifter mark on my boot.

GP Shift.

Less falses now.
