Bike (1098s) went in to the dealer a couple of weeks ago to have full termi's, DP pressure plate/open cover and DP rear sets (non folding type) fitted.
Due to taking the bike down in a van because of bad weather i didn't ride it until last weekend, only problem is it's now difficult to engage first gear when comong up to lights/rounabouts.
I have spoken to the dealer and as they suggested i have adjusted the rear set to give the shortest throw but it still not engaging first correctly.

I spoke to them again today and they have suggested it may need disconnecting at the end of the tie bar to the drive spline and moving around a few positions.
Any other suggestions?

I should make it clear the weather was terrible when the bike was at the dealer and as a result they could not road test it also there's no problem taking it to them to have it sorted, apart frrom the hour and a half drive and if possible i would prefer to sort it myself.
Thanks in advance
Simon

Check to make sure the centerlines of the shifter and the trans arm are perpendicular to the rod. Or as close as you can get them. I don't know why 1st is tough and the others aren't. I believe the throw is the same for all of them except for 2nd to 1st cause you have to go through neutral on the drum. Is this from nuetral to 1st while not moving or downshifting when moving? If it's nuetral to first you might want to let your clutch lever out some to give the slave more travel.
