Mobil 1 10w40 4T Motorcycle Oil with K&N-153 filter. ~3.75 qts but there is a sight glass so I measure using that (when bike is upright, not on sidestand) 16,000 miles and running great..you will get a lot of different answers, it comes down to preference.

I was using motul, switch to mobil 1, blew up my engine then back to motul.

No the oil didn't blow the engine, as long as it's the correct spec it doesn't really matter the brand if you are changing it every 3000-3500 miles

I'm due to the 15K maintenance and since I cant justify the Agip/ENI oil any more will be changing to Castrol 10W-40.
