Sadly my duc is still in peices But my 1st ride of 2016 was New Year's Day on the CBR and it was frigid! Thank god for warm and safe gear and heated grips!

Balmy 41F this afternoon. Lined Rev'it suit and electric gloves make winter riding a joy. Had to watch out for sand and salt thrown down for black ice. Switched my Shorai LFX18 battery to Yuasa for the winter. Shorai can't crank fast enough below 45F.

One more ride this morning to work. Took the BMW with heated grips. 27 - 28 degrees F and I could do this all winter, but there's a storm warning for this weekend which is going to be a problem.

There was a lot of snow down over the weekend but now the temps are predicted to be in the 40's a couple of days this wee and the roads are relatively clear. Getting out will be possible if I can get down the driveway.
