In reading some of the specs and reviews on the Panigale 1299S, I noticed it has a "fixed" mode that can be set for the suspension. Any comments about how useful this will be from anyone?
Personally, it solves the biggest issue I have had with electronically controlled suspension; that is that you get no consistency at the track - You can go through the same corner 15 times and get 15 different responses from the suspension. I rode a friend's HP4 at Thunderhill and was really put off by that lack of consistency.
With the new Panigale 1299, it seems as if we can manually set the suspension from the display and be assured that the settings will stay consistent; that makes the decision to buy a 1299 for me, that much easier... Electronic suspension wizardry for my daily commute and a fixed setting for trackdays/weekend blasts.
Cheers.
