For Sale: VeeTwo Alchemy - Project Bike - Unbuilt

In 1998 I desparately wanted to buy an Australian bike. The closest I could get was to buy an Alchemy SV1 frame and body kit manufactured by Brooke Henry in WA (Vee Two). The race version (RV1) was being very successfully raced by phil Allen at the time.

I have clung onto the hope of evolving this frame/bodywork kit into a street weapon for 23 years but the dream has not been realised and I have come to the conclusion that it should go to a new owner that may complete the journey.

For sale is a complete Vee Two Alchemy SV1 frame kit to suit a Ducati bevel twin engine.

These kits were manufactured by Vee Two Australia from 1988 to 1998 and sold as either complete motorcycles with ADR compliance, or as a frame kit that could be built privately for road use or track only bikes. This particular SV1 kit is number 78 of 100 kits produced.

This kit includes the following:
  • Achemy SV1 Frame (TS23 Mild Steel) + Swingarm (Painted in blue primer upon receipt in 1995).
  • Fuel tank mounts and flush mounted filler cap
  • Upgraded *********** absorber which is preload/compression/rebound adjustable (versus the lower spec Koni shock option) which is ride height adjustable via the rear linkage
  • Bodywork (including single seat cowling), fairing and smoked screen (very minor damage to the rear fibreglass adjacent to the taillight, incurred during original transport, easy repair prior to painting)
  • Rear axle, adjusters and engine bolts
  • Seat plate, suspension linkages and electrics board
Feel free to message me with an offer if you are interested.

The Odd Bike article below provides a bit of background and contains images of some of my frame/bodywork components, including the rear suspension linkage and fully adjustable whitepower shock. Brownie's Alchemy on this site is the standaout example of just what can be made from this kit.I am fortunate to have seen this bike and it is every bit as good as the photos posted here.

To be honest it’s not mine, but thanks for unwarranted belief in my talents, that is Brownies. I just asked for more pictures from him. Presttiest bike I’ve seen!

GLWS.. I hope it finds a good home.

Oops, it was a bit late at night and should have picked that up. Thanks for the heads up. I'll amend the text. It will be sad to see it go. Thanks for your wishes.

Hi Chill,
that has been the dilemma with such a unique sale.
I am open to 'reasonable' offers.
