I saw post from another rider about having an issue with removing the front nose fairing. . But just didn't make sense to me can some one help with the best way to remove the bolt behind the fairing? 2012 848 evo
remove the black rubber well nut by pulling straight down. Next use a allen key (same size as the bolts for the side panels) and move it around until you can grab the bolt head and lefty-loosey. After you do it once you will figure it out to be very easy. you can use your finger to giude the allen key in to get an idea of where it's located but it's pretty much centered. It would be hard to get to that bolt without first removing the rubber well nut.
It's behind the tip of the nose u gotta remove the plastics under the nose fairin and u reach right behind the the nose and there's Bolt right there its a pain in the ass to say the least
In hindsight yes it's 3 bolts but u gotta remove more than just this bolts ..and it wasn't so much which bolts to take off .. but the best method for that one bolt that was a booger
