Bike History
The bike was purchased brand new on 11/1/2007 from Southern California Ducati for a retail MSRP price of $15,804.00
Upon purchase the first owner demanded the bike replicate the DP Performance hypermotard accessories catalog bike on pages 1,2 & 33. The list of modifications were ordered from the Ducati Performance Catalog from the dealership and installed on the bike with just 5 miles before taking delivery. The goal was to keep the bike ultra factory clean just like the DP Peformance hypermotard displayed in the catolag and to only make modifications that were performance oriented, tasteful, well-sorted and functional without desecrating the classic Pierre Terblanche design.
The total cost of modifications at the time came to total $5,783.83
I'm the second (2nd) owner and purchased this pristine example from the original owner who was an older executive in Los Angeles on 6/20/2009 with only 817 miles on the odometer. The LA executive hardly rode the bike in the short 19 months of ownership and spent most of his time on a Ducati 999R is why he decided to sell the bike.
Since taking delivery I added another $1,847.72 in tasteful modifications and service with a total of $23,435.55! invested into this hypermotard.
Bike currently has only 3,634 total miles in seven years resulting in the showroom condition. Bike has been adult owned and maintained from day one. Air compressed cleaned and hand waxed after each ride (no water hose washing), bike was only ridden on Sunday Mornings in the near by mountain twisty roads, never been down, never tracked, never even crossed a puddle of water, always stored in climate controlled garage and covered with DP hypermotard dust cover with battery tender attached.

Bike had it's first & most important service at 654 miles at Pro Italia Motors in Southern California on 6/28/2008. Oil changed / new oil filter / front brakes bleed. At 3064 miles I had the bike serviced again with new set Dunlop Q2 Sportmax tires (Chicken strips still on the tires) 120/70/17 front and 180/55/17 rear. All Fluids checked, upgraded to a Shorai Lithium battery for increased weight savings, oil changed with Motul 300V Full Synthetic and new Ducati Oil Filter (44440035A). All performance work completed by Certified Ducati Trained Senior Technicians.

Bike in person looks like it came right out of the DP Catalog
You would be hard pressed to find another 2008 1100S hypermotard like my bike on the market today. This well cared for pristine example is well sorted and maintained in showroom condition. Bike sounds amazing (The DB killer has been removed) pulls ridiculously hard all the way through the power band and is the perfect bike for everyday city commuting, weekend canyon carver, track day junkie or collector looking to add a future classic Ducati to the collection. I've tried to describe the bike & history to the best of my abilities to save everyone time in the purchasing process.
