Hello all!
I used to have a 2008 Monster and a highly optioned 848. Both are now sold, but I feel honored to sell this gorgeous and highly collectible 2009 Ducati Troy Bayliss 1098R LE for a great friend.

This 1098R Bayliss LE is the top of the range with the most power output of the 3, 1098, 1098s, 1098r.
It has an 1198cc Desmodromic 90degree V twin DOHC engine producing 180Hp. It weighs only 364lbs (dry weight), the equivalent of over 1000hp per tonne, the most powerful of any road bike of its time. It can do 0-60mph in 2.7seconds. With 99.1 lbs/ft of torque it offers the highest torque–to-weight ratio bike of its time. Even today these specs are still extremely high and are not for the faint hearted.
This particular super bike has also been fitted with the full Termignoni exhaust system with an increased tubing diameter to not only give it extra Hp, but to give it the beautiful note the bike deserves. When standing 3 feet away from the bike you can feel the power rumbling through your body. As all Ducatis’ deserve, this bike has the sleek single swing arm which is a subtle black on the Troy Bayliss Limited Edition. It has the multi plate dry clutch giving that sound only Ducati can get away with. Having Twin Brembo 330mm discs on the front and a single 245mm Brembo disc on the rear this bike can stop on a pin.
The power and the feel when you start it up is enough to excite you. Take it out on the road and to feel the smoothness from the 180Hp engine and massive amount of torque to pull you through any turn. Twist the throttle slightly to hear the roar coming from the twin Termignoni exhaust system, no effort has to be made to overtake any other bike in front of you. Leaning the bike over into corners couldn’t be easier. The balance of this amazing machine lets you get down low even at slow speeds. It is an absolute pleasure to ride. Then you up the ante on the track, this Bike will eat you for breakfast, keep the revs high (limited to 12,000 rpm) this bike is limited by you, it will push your limits to the max. Racing through the gears on the straights and you’ll be in 6th gear hitting 190 MPH (limited) before you know it, then slamming on the Brembos before leaning over and taking corners faster than you have ever gone before.
The Troy Bayliss Limited Edition was fitted its amazing blue, white and red racing colour scheme and his race number 21 placed over it. The meticulous owner of this fine machine rarely took her off of the wheel stand and out of the garage, and only rode on dry sunny days. She has always been garaged and always properly started and always saw a polish after each short trip. This bike has never seen what rain and apart from the Termignoni pipes and a few additional carbon fibre bits, it is completely original with no flaws. Comes with two keys and a clean title.
