No, 848 evo shares the same mounting setup as an 1198.

This exhaust has been tested to fit on a 848 engine... Fits.. on a 1098s engine.. Fits.. 848 evo 2013 is what it came off of.. Fits.. so it will fit all 848's and 1098/1098s.. I'll post pics of it if necessary..
