Loosen the nut hat holds the length adjustment on the gearshift rod.
Remove the rearset, and (it takes a bit of manouvering here...) twist the rearset so you can see the bolt fastening the shiftrod's eyelet to the rearset. Remove that bolt.
Tip: Make sure you keep the twisting of the shiftrod to minimal, otherwise it would take a lot to readjust the length to proper length again.
At least that was how I did it.
