I am thinking of selling my GP7 exhaust. I sold my Desmo a while back but I kept my brand new GP7 exhaust. It was never installed and I kept it in case I bought another Desmo in the future as the exhausts are rarer then hens teeth. All the boxes are in the original shipping box and it is the team version. What is the best way to sell it?

This Gp 7 system is a team version and it is complete with all parts as shipped from Ducati. That includes all body work. It is brand new in the original boxes and has never been mounted. I live in the Los Angeles area and I would like to sell it locally but I will consider shipping within the U.S. I am not looking to make money on this deal as I just want to get back what it cost me initially. That was $7500 plus tax. I will let the tax slide. These systems are very hard to find and they are especially hard to find unused in the original shipping boxes. I believe they will only get harder to find as time goes by.

I think your issue may be your comments of preferring to sell locally or ship in the USA only. Huge number of potential overseas buyers on this forum you may be missing out on.
Also a few systems for sale at the moment including Moly's so people perceive that they are not really that rare.

As for there being more than one right now, that is unusual as they are actually a rare commodity that will get rarer after the two available now sell. Also, mine is complete, never mounted and in the original boxes from Ducati which is perfect for a collector or someone who will use it now. I recieved a couple of offers that I turned down because they were too far from what I am asking. However, I will bargain with someone who understands what this is worth and whom is willing to pay fairly for it. By the way, this system is from the last batch Ducati made and it is of the highest quality. I had one on my first Desmo and it was an early one and the quality was not as good as this one in terms of paint, etc.
