Can anyone help Im looking for a fuel pump assay and gasket for a 1991 851, the parts are discontinued
maybe 5 years ago my fuel pump (1990 strada)
was acting up. i pulled it from the tank and, using
the codes etched into the metal body, did
a web search and came up with an exact
replacement. can't remember off hand what it was.
let me look at home tonight and see if i still have
the data.

(i ended up not replacing the pump. the local duc
shop was able to get it running again.)
there's a discussion here which references at least
two manufacturers ... walbro and bosch. if i recall, the
one i found was bosch.

i will try to remember to check my 851 stuff at home for
the replacement unit i found.
The pump is a Fiat pump. If you pull it out and read the part number off it, you'll be able to cross reference it. They've used several different versions over the years, so you need to check yours and then do the cross reference. I had no problem sourcing pumps at my local auto parts store. Same goes for the inline fuel filter which is one off a BMW 2002. :)

Edit: Walbro AOU195
Ok, my notes from 5 years ago have the following
Two references

Weber PI-022

Bosch 0580464993

I also have the following web site which
Might be useful

Fuelsystem.co.uk

Which is for 'fuel system enterprises'

Best of luck to you.
