It just yesterday the bike wouldent even start then after about of trying it for a few min. lit up like normal, then on the way home it was doing a herkey jerkey only when i try to feather the throttle
and when it does the herker jerky crap the whole motor cut out. Also the rpm's would stop to going at random times and it would bounce around like 1k rpm to 9k rpm and not matching the true motor rpm's.

Did water get into the electrical connection or something?

I'd start with the basics. Throw a multimeter on the TPS, put it on ohms and make sure it's working properly. Then I'd check the fueling system. It could be a clog in the fuel filter, that's pretty common due to dirty fuel. If you did just wash the bike, I'd look at the timing sensor connector, it has a tendency to retain water.

An erratic tach reading is the result of changes in base voltage. Loose battery connections are a common cause of this which also would explain the engine's fuel ignition problem.
