Just a heads up for those of you in market to buy a camera.. My friend works at a scuba shop and he got multiple emails from his sales associate at GoPro who was in a meeting finalizing the release for the GoPro Hero 3 for next month.. Official release is Nov 15

FUCK! I just bought the 2. Damn. Now I have to sell my Hero and Hero2 so I can get a couple of the Hero3.
I haven't seen the Hero3 @ $199
The H3 will come out @ least $300 like it's predecesor price was before. could be more expensive but, I don't see it any less than that price.
The Hero2 on black friday I could see them going for $170 or pushing it @ $150.
Currently @ $200 is hell of a deal.

well it looks like no LCD, only as an accessory...but why the hell is there wi-fi on a camera??? 
You can use wifi to stream the live video to your phone, and to change settings or start/stop record. No need for an LCD accessory if you have your phone handy.
GoPro's may be different, but that's how it was on the Sony. It's an awesome feature to use your phone as a viewfinder.

does not have all the atachments as the motorsports edition but I can buy the kit for 20 bux and still a hell of a camera.
