I purchased an 18X18 sheet of shielded fiberglass, cut it, and double-sided it to fit under the hot seat. Hopefully the heat will radiate downwards. That seat is so thin. There is a lot of room under there, most bikes put a battery there.

They sell that tape at Lowes and I am sure like all over the place, that is heat reduction tape.

HVAC / Aluminum Foil Tapes

^^^ Won’t that work or no?

It won't work as well as the stuff Brent is using. You can't see it from the photos but it has a layer of fiberglass cloth on the other side of the foil. I've used this stuff on race cars to cut down on the heat in the footbox area. It worked very well.

I'm thinking that one layer of that stuff with the foil facing down and then taping the bottom of the seat with some of the adhesive foil tape may be the best way to isolate your butt from the heat. Good call Brent!

So... HVAC / Aluminum Foil Tapes will work but just not as well as fiberglass stuff?
