If it arrives in time, I will taking my 1098 on track at Barber Motorosports Park on the weekend of March 17th, 2007. Can't wait!

I rode last year on June 6th, 2006. The 'devil's day', everything was fine.

I mostly run track days at tracks like VIR, Mid-Ohio and Barber...although I did race my 2001 MV Agusta F4S in CCS for a bit...

How did it go at Barber? I am curious: I will be there in September and I have never been in what they call the best racing track. Tell us your impressions, thanks

Well I did finally take it to Barber for the 2008 season ending track days and it was pretty good overall. I wasn't setting any lap records but I did consistent 1:39's with Bridgestone's new BT-003 tires. I have an EVR slipper, 320 mm floating Brembo rotors, Marchesini magnesium forged rims, Techtronics quickshifter, Ohlins TTX rear shock, upgraded Ohlins damper, 30 mm offset triples, corse rearsets and full Termignoni. The bike has slowly gotten better and better as I have learned to ride a twin properly on track and now I am having DucShop build it into a full-on racebike. Should be really good when done. I am having a linear linkage installed at the rear and Ohlins cartridge kit as well as a Brembo RCS master cylinder and articulated clutch lever as well as Nemesis.

When I'm done with race body etc I should have a 'real' 380 lbs race bike with all fluids except gas pushing 160 hp at the wheel with killer suspension!
