Have noticed with a little bit of rain , the imobiliser won't disengage.


Not too bad as I can enter the over ride code.

I have fitted a steering dampner about 3 years ago to an 2010 848 , had it reoccur once a year ago , let the bike sit for 15 minutes come back and fired up.

This time I just threw the code in on 3 occasions I wanted to use the bike in the rain .

I believe the sensor ring is around the key guard, I cant see any thing loose.

And I don't feel like changing the CPU to a power commander. Any suggestion?

Take the key guard off and check the ring to see if there's a possible wire exposed.
