the cheapest I have found so far was $96.57 a month through State Farm.

Compared to $322 from Nationwide

$85 Geico

$288 a month Progressive

$130 a month All State

The bike has to have full-coverage.

anyone have a insurance company that insures there bike for less than Geico or State Farm?

met insurance

I use MET for insurance
I called them today, $157 a month. wow.

so far Sate Farm is what considering,

I think the only place I haven't checked is Liberty Mutual.

To me it makes no since. I have a good driving record, no accidents have my motorcycle license for 3 years. and then a couple insurance agencies say that I will have a 'vanishing deductible' and that the rate will go down eventually.

but I am already an established driver, it really makes no since not to get a good rate to begin with.

anything over $100 a month is way too much.

i'd like to be in the $20-$45 dollar range. while still having full-coverage.

I only pay $23 now for a 250cc a month. full coverage.

insurance

Geico- 800 year for highest lvl of liability and theft. Everybody else was just out there... Allstate wanted 3200...
so what kind of coverage do you have ?
roughly $66 isn't bad and about $20 less than what I was quoted through Geico.

I think asked about 25,000/50,000 or something .

One insurer said full coverage was pretty much what ever coverage you wanted..... as long as it covered damage of the bike if it was financed, which the bank would be financing this bike.

nationwide has a "vanishing" deductible but coverage starts at over $300 a month.

I'm opposed to paying more for insurance than what the payment to the bank would be a month for purchasing the motorcycle.

I don't get how a insurance company can define a sport bike as any different than any other bike, they just look different. A Harley with a 883 motor is the same 'CC' class as a Hypermotard as far as engines go. and the insurance for a 'cruiser' bike I had was a mere $40 a month.

Insurance ranges big time from state to state... from how long u had liscence for .. points,, ect. there a pain in the arse. My bud in up state Ny has his bike (2014 MV Agusta Brutale 800.. Fast frigging bike) for bout 550 a year through Geico. here in jersey in got for same thing and its just over 800. both of us have no points.. accidednts and have liscence for same time bout 5 years. I called around and geico was lowest. Did u try rider?

I guess they figure u are less likely to do anything stupid on a Cruser vs sport bike.

Never mind the quote from rider. I knew the quote was too good to be true. I went back and added comprehensive and collision and the per month price went up to $138 a month.

State Farm is still the cheapest quote I have received and I need to check again and ask if the quote I recieved from them included comprehensive and collision.

But I did have the quote from rider to $15 a month, that's with just liability I think is what it equates to, and I also put I had taken a defensive driving course.

I have thought about taking one of those courses for a discount, in VA you can take the course online through the DMV and get a cheaper insyrNce rate through some companies.
