I keep reading that most motorcycle crashes/repairs never show up on CARFAX reports (heck, a lot of car repairs/accidents dont show either).

That said, is there another service like Carfax that I should pull before handing money over for a used bike?

What do you guys say?

Never heard of a bike Carfax, what you can do at least is run the VIN number with the DMV and see if it is indeed a clean title. Use your good judgment on feeling out the seller. I always purchase used bikes with very low miles (less than 2k), this way they should look pretty much brand new or I walk away.

I don't think there is anything out there for bikes. Just make sure it doesn't have a salvage/rebuilt title and go over the bike very carefully looking for any sort of hidden crash damage.

Searched for the VIN in CARFAX and received the following response: (I guess pulling a report would be pointless)
