Hi - I have a low milage 2003 ST4S and love it. Starts easy and pulls great. Problem is when cruising at constant throttle, the on-off is harsh or jerky.
How can I smooth this out?

Thanks
Pete

Hi - Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the drive chain (right on 32mm) and the throttle play (good at 2mm).

I think it is a fueling problem but don't know how to fix it.

Is it the original throttle tube?
The plastic bit under the hand grip that pulls the throttle cable.
These are often changed for one off a jap bike either for cheap replacement or to increase throttle response speed.

Hi - Good comment. I checked the cush drive recently when I changed the rear sprocket - they look great.

Hi - It is the original throttle with only 6K miles on it, I will clean and lube it though. Thanks
