Jingle bells

Hi guys I purchased my first ducati a couple of months back. A 1989 400SS JUNIOR. And I'm now trying to iron out a few lumps in the old girl. I have what to me sound like severely loose floating discs. Man they rattle and shake down the street so loud I cant hear the sweet tune of the engine over them. What can I do to rectify this. There is plenty of meat on them. It's just that they rattle so much.
