I've noticed alot of posts that just trash their Ducati Dealers. So I just want to hear about some of the good dealerships out there.

I'll set it off...

Phibbs Power Sports, 456 Albany-Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12211, www.phibbspowersports.com, has been nothing but great in dealing with me. This Ducati 1098 is the first bike I've ever owned, so I'm a "newbie" who knows absolutely nothing about bikes, and they've answered all my questions and helped me with everything I've needed. They are very knowlegable about the bikes, great about ordering accessories, and great on repairs. I had a drop the first day I got it, and they fixed what they could, and ordered the rest saving me alot of money when the could have just replaced everthing. They told me how to store it for the winter. They even bumped me up on the waiting list back in the spring when a guy ahead of me had to have surgery and wouldn't be needing a bike right away.

AMS Ducati in Alvarado, TX / Ducati Dallas - Both owned by Jeff and Toni Nash. You may remember Jeff as the Pro Thunder AMA Champion a few years back. Jeff is uber-smart with Ducati and he and Toni really treat the customer(s) right. Stuart Rust (Jeff's ex-mechanic) is the lead mechanic and I don't think I'm going out on a limb to say he's one of the top mechanics in the US.

It's worth a trip to Alvarado just to see what he has "on the wall" (classic Ducati models and race bikes from the past).

Life Cycle in Kalamazoo, MI.

Everybody there are genuinely pleasant to chat with, yet alone deal with. After closing on Tuesday evenings, everybody meets up there and let's ride! This past Saturday was their annual holiday party. I took a lot of pics but promised people that none would show up on the internet! The entire place is open house, it's fun to be able to wander about anywhere you like. The service shop had a great open bar with all the best local microbrews. This year Lebanese food was catered in. Me and my Ducati Hotty (Mrs. elevens) staggered home after midnight, but the party normally runs till 3-4 a.m. Now how many businesses will do that in this day of liability and ambulance chasing? Great bunch of people and it all starts at the top with owner Dave Reynolds.

Thumbs up for Corse Superbikes in Saukville, WI. I just bought my new baby from them with a couple minor mistakes which they more than made up for. I drove there Tuesday night to take delivery of the bike and the mirror glass had popped off and the contract was wrong. I ended up not getting the bike that night but in return they are delivering the bike and will be performing the first service for no charge! They have made this by far the best purchases I have ever made! Very easy people to work with. I also asked the service department what they were charging for the first and second services after reading some of the posts about being over charged and was happy to hear they were almost right on par with the DNA recommended prices.

ACE MOTOR SPORTS – CONCORD, CA.
They just moved from San Leandro about 4 weeks ago….they originally where part of Monroe Motorsprots of San Francisco. They are great guys this is my second DUC from them. The sales guy Jim was straight with me all the time not a car salesman that’s why he’s the GM in the new location. Oh, my previous dealer was BMW/DUCATI of Boulder / Fort Collins, Colorado great place too, two DUCs from them. I used Hatter Motorsport in San Rafel, CA…eh, you feel you are being rushed, they have cool digs but that’s it!

Modesto Ducati.......Modesto, CA....Don and Deanna, owners :smoking:

Family owners/operators, nice/friendly people, cheapest price found, excellent service, freebies :king:

I drove 5.5 hrs. from SoCal to NorCal because they quoted from $600-1000 cheaper than the 5 nearest dealers to me and were very friendly/understanding on the phone calls. Did not require a deposit, even for the initial '07 bikes.....owner Deanna mentioned "You guys need that money for Christmas...we hold the bike for you until you say you don't want it." THAT was a very different attitude from all of the other dealers. Once I committed to their wait list, they continued to keep me informed of delivery time frames. I was going to buy from them even if I found a decent price closer to me

Once there, they made special efforts to install the ceramic coated, Termi full system that I brought with me and test/tune the bike. The bike has never stalled.

Freebies included a 1098 T-shirt, the Data Analyzer Kit ($250) from the "S" model (mine is a Base), and the Termi install :flash:

The service tech was very informative and took his time explaining some basic Ducati newbie info. He was very concerned that I treat the bike right.

I would buy from them again, and if they weren't so far away I'd go there for service, too.

I second Modesto Ducati !!! I bought my Tricolore there.

I drive 100 miles each way from the South Bay Area to give them my business, even though I have a number of dealers much closer.

Deanna, Don, and their daughter (can't remember her name) run one of the nicest family businesses I've seen to date.

I purchased both of my bikes( 2008 Hypermotard 1100S, and a 2008 1098S) from CROSS COUNTRY DUCATI of Metuchen, NJ. Maire Lanzafane was my sales associate. She is the best and she rides an MV Agusta, and a Monser. Maire you rock!!!! The sales, parts, and service are second to none. I will buy another bike from them in future.

I have purchased 5 bikes in the last 2 years from

Inglis Cycle Center in London Ontario Canada and you couldn't ask for better people to deal with. I'd live there if I could, no wait, I think I do.

cheers
