has anyone seen the 2016 M1200r? the front shocks are ohlins. with it being a factory part and similar to the monster 821 would it be possible to swap it out? looking for any information on if it could be a direct swap.

If you haven't seen the 1200R take a look the bike looks absolutely amazing in black with red stripe.

The 1200S from earlier years also has Ohlins. No idea if they will swap but I doubt it.

yeah that was one of the articles i read. I saw some others that hi light the black, it looks amazing i wish they offered more after market components for the 821 to really personalize the bike. I don't need the extra power but i love the look and suspension of the 1200r, minus the exhaust haha.

What have you done so far? It's damn near impossible to remove anything without making the bike look like a piece of junk. Aside from mirrors and tail.

I agree i was meaning more like changing stuff to carbon fiber or removing the canister kind of stuff if i could take it off and it look right i would. I've moved the turn signals to the headlight/ tail tidy/ smoke tail light integrated rear signals/seat cover/ changed the mirrors but went back to factory, i liked them better. the basics really. I am planning to go for a small exhaust slip on and ceramic coating the pipes to black it out more. just over all i think less is more with this bike.
