Anyone know of an online program that would be good at mapping out a long back route? Or am I doing the old map printout and finding the route?

In case I'm not being clear, I want to map out a route from Boston, MA to the races in Loudon, NH on Sunday. Most programs just offer A-B with turn-by-turn. What I'm looking for is something to help me with a nice back route. I have a feeling that's asking way too much but figured what the hell, might as well ask.

And no I don't have a GPS on my bike yet...another expense for next year!

Google Maps has the ability to do a custom route with several stops along the way. Also has the ability to display traffic conditions too!

Secondary routes

NeDuc,

All the computer map programs I've seen get you from point A to point B via the fastest and/or shortest route possible. If you want to plan a route on secondary roads I suggest you look at maps, ("real" maps, "hard copy" maps, for all you computer-minded young bucks, not mapquest maps), and plan the route that way.

Have fun at the races!

Thanks man

Yeah, I might do that too...the Google thing, if I can figure out how to save and print it right, is cool. You can drag the route around and it sticks, almost like an erasable highlighter!
