I was under the impression that with the Microtec ECU (1198 Superbike) we can remove the Key transponder ring from the ignition.

Started the bike without the transponder antenna connected, and there was a yellow warning light. Seemed to run fine, and then quit about a block down the road. Had to push it back to the house.

Where in the software is the anti-theft transponder turned off? I can put the antenna back on (although it's a pain with the connector not too easy to get to), but I didn't think it did anything anymore. I also want to remove a source of electrical gremlins which the anti-theft transponder is known for.

Being the bike started and ran I don't think that's ya problem.
Don't think there is anywhere in the software to turn it on or off.
Who did you purchase the Microtec from maybe ask them, or try
Mark at Ducshop.

Weird... reinstalled, warning light went off, runs fine. Bought it from Ducshop.
