I forget the belt change interval....I know you 848 geeks know off the top of your head (include me in the geeks lol)

I'm asking because I just bought a 2011 848 with 13k miles that will never see the street again....track only...

per the owners manual page 98 for the evo model:

check adjust valve clearances every 7500 miles.
check timing belt tension at 7500, replace at 15000.

obviously if you are only tracking these intervals will be reduced.

Thank you....I knew somebody had it...just didn't have the time to research...

The bike has 13k....time to replace, especially since it's about to be flogged....

Yep, replace'em and do the valve check before taking to the track.
